It has it's name from "Kueh Lapis", an Indonesian layer cake that also famous in Singapore. Indonesians call it Lapis Legit. The top veneer of this bass is from zebra wood, also the body is comprised from mahogany, rosewood, mahogany; it makes a 3 layer colors like "Surabaya cake", aka "Spiku". 



In this pictures is a customized short scale (30") 6 strings bass as I tuned it like a guitar, but I will make normal length & cusiomized strings number too (4-6 strings).

The pick-ups here are EMG P & J active. For custom order you can bring/choose your own preference pick-up, also pre-amp instalation.
